A Real Canadian Winter

It has been so long since I have written in this blog that winter has come and gone and almost come again (at least in Canada, not the Philippines). Last Christmas we decided it was about time to introduce the boys to snow....for the first time!! Mindy and I were worried that they would freeze their buns off since for most of their lives the coldest it gets is 25C. We had no need to worry as the boys jumped right in (literally) and didn't want to go back inside. So we tried to do it all in the few weeks we were back in Canada. Ice skating, snow men, snow angels, snowball fights, forts, licking icicles, hot chocolate, tobogganing, and Christmas with family!

Owen hard at work. He outlasted everyone, even on the coldest days.

We made it to downtown Barrie to see the passing of the torch for the 2010 Winter Olympics held in Vancouver.

What's a winter without the annual run and jump in the snow wearing only your swimsuit!
